OUR STORY

HOW IT ALL BEGaN

IMG_4677.jpeg

We met in Wales while studying chiropractic.

What began as friendship — shared lectures, long conversations, and bike rides — slowly grew into something deeper.

A few months before graduation, friendship quietly turned into love.

Timing, however, had other plans.

Fabrizio had already decided to return to Italy.

Renita had signed a contract to begin working in Liverpool.

And so, just as our story was beginning, we found ourselves living in different countries — began our long-distance chapter.

AIRPORTS, backpacks, AND DETERMINATION

IMG_1986.jpeg

For over a year, our relationship lived between departure gates and arrival halls. Every two weeks, one of us boarded a plane. We took 60 flights in one year.

Every goodbye felt heavier than the backpack we were carrying. There were tears at the airports — quiet ones, hopeful ones — because loving each other meant trusting that, somehow,

it would all work out.

Distance slowly became part of our routine. It was tiring at times, but it was always worth it. We had date nights, cooking the same meals in different countries while connected through video calls. We said goodnight through a screen and counted down the

days until the next flight.

We chose each other, every single time.

Travel became so familiar that we occasionally forgot the small details — like the time Fabrizio arrived at the wrong airport on his way back to Italy.

After more than a year of airports and countdowns, we decided it was time to stop measuring our relationship in flight schedules. Renita moved to Italy, the distance finished and began our next chapter called home.

BUILDING A HOME

For the first time, distance was no longer part of our love story. We opened the door to a new chapter — one built on everyday moments, shared routines, and the quiet joy of simply being in the same place.

Life suddenly felt simpler.

No more countdowns. No more departure gates.

And so far, it has been the most beautiful chapter of our lives.

There is something indescribably beautiful about coming home and knowing that the other half of you is already there.

In the ordinary moments — morning coffee, cooking dinner, sharing stories from the day, just being together — we realized this was exactly where we were meant to be.

This is us. This is home.

Our adventures

It began simply — with bicycle rides through the Welsh countryside. Long roads, open skies, countless sheep, and the quiet excitement of discovering something new together.

From there, our world kept expanding. Sicily was explored by motorbike, circling the island from coast to coast. Tunisia followed — its cities, deserts, and villages unfolding one by one, bringing new cultures, new flavours, and stories that quietly shaped who we are. Spain, Turkey, Romania, China... We are still taking a lot of flights but in this chapter we do it together.

We have jumped from bridges together, climbed mountains, hiked endless trails, and even embraced winter swimming in Estonia.

We have learned that adventure is less about the destination and more about the way we choose to experience life — side by side. Exploring the world together has become one of the ways we express love.

But for us, adventure is not only found in the extraordinary.

Sometimes it is a spontaneous sunset walk.

Sometimes it is trying a new café for breakfast.

Sometimes it is taking the long road home just to see where it leads.

FROM FIRST VISIT TO FOREVER

2021

2025

In September 2021, during Renita’s first visit to Fabrizio’s hometown, he brought her to Monte Sibilla for the first time.

We did not know then how meaningful that place would become for us. The mountains, the silence, the endless horizon — it felt like standing at the edge of the world, and we loved it.

Four years later, during scout camp in July 2025, we returned. While walking, Renita felt calmer and happier than she had in a long time. She felt that she's at the right place at the right time doing the right thing. Surrounded by nature, away from daily routines and responsibilities, simply present in the moment. Little did she know that Fabrizio was carrying something small, but very important, in his belly bag.

At the summit, surrounded by nature and the people we love, a group photo quietly turned into a proposal. In a world where we are always moving, Sibilla became the place where time stood still.

And the answer was Yes.

From friendship to love, from distance to home, from mountains to sea — we cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with you!

In a world that never stops moving,

we cannot wait to pause  and celebrate — with you

With love,

Renita & Fabrizio
